The latest technology in sealing water, oil and combustion.  There's not just a simple answer to your boost problems.  Several factors go into the right gasket, rings and studs.  Gaskets are available in several thicknesses and rings are available in several different sizes.  Studs come standard and extra heavy duty according to the amount of boost you are producing or are plan to produce!!

THIS PROCESS FOR THE 5.9L CUMMINS WAS DEVELOPED HERE BY VAN & CURT HAISLEY IN 2002-2003. WE STARTED SELLING TO THE PUBLIC IN JULY 2003.  AFTER MANY MONTHS OF R&D AND OVER $20K DOLLARS IN PARTS ALONE TO FIND A SYSTEM THAT WORKED THE BEST.  OUR ORIGINAL GOAL WAS TO FIND A WAY TO SEAL THE HEAD WITHOUT CUTTING GROOVES IN THE HEAD OR BLOCK.  HINCE, LESS MONEY FOR THE END USER.  AFTER TRYING "C" RINGS, "D" RINGS, GAS FILLED RINGS, ETC, WE DECIDED THAT THIS WAS THE BEST ROUTE TO GO.  CURT CALLED IT AFTER THE 11TH TIME OF PULLING THE HEAD ON HIS TRUCK!

Mild steel fire rings are available in stock in the following wire sizes:  .105, .118 and .125 with diameters sizes of:   4.500", 4.530" & 4.550"  We can build any size you need upon request.  $75 set up fee for special sizes.  The size you need is dependent on whether or not you already have grooves cut in either your block and/or your cylinder head.

Standard 12MM studs are made from  17-22 material AND ARE 210 ksi min.   XHD studs are made from H-11 and have a glass bead finish, 220 ksi min.  All kits include 26 studs, nuts, 12pt nuts, assembly lube and instructions.

XHD head studs are 14mm and require that you drill and tap the block and ream the head.  We recommend that this procedure be done by a qualified machine shop.
